You are here: Seminars » Teaching Literacy phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency
As teachers, we want to turn our vision of every child reading fluently into reality but how do we do this? This hands-on workshop focuses on strategies to improve phonemic awareness, phonics teaching, fluency and comprehension. Phonics teaching should not be tedious. In this one day workshop participants will find out how reading instruction can be efficient, fun and successful. Learn about our alphabetic code so that you can teach it with confidence. Maureen and Helen will also discuss literacy research and what this means for classroom practice.
