Creating Young Inquirers

Whole school focus
Description:

We are currently teaching in the best era for Inquiry Learning.
• How can you manage Inquiry learning in your classroom effectively?
• How can you teach using inquiry and assess it effectively?

This one day seminar will provide teachers with a clear understanding of the Inquiry approach and how best to manage it in the classroom.

Teachers will learn about a range of tools to use in an Inquiry classroom such as Habits of Mind, Thinking tools, and Multiple Intelligences.  Through the use of such tools, teacher skills will be developed with emphasis on sound pedagogy.

Coby provides a hands-on approach where educators will walk away with resources and ideas to be used in the classroom everyday to enhance the use of, and the assessment of, Inquiry Learning.
