The Excellence in Professional Practice Conference 2014 is presented by practitioners, for practitioners. They include teachers, educational leaders, principals; leading educationalists and researchers.
This year’s conference theme is Teachers driving school improvement.
The conference will be held from Friday, 16 May to Saturday, 17 May at the Rydges Melbourne Hotel. Registration also includes Networking Drinks in Bobby McGees at the venue on Friday, 16 May at the conclusion of the presentations.
ACER recognises that, every day, teachers and school leaders are responsible for improving learning among students.
This conference provides an opportunity to report on and celebrate the improvements you have achieved within your classes, across the whole school or within networks of schools.
Through presenting data, documenting and reflecting on the processes, and sharing the experience with others, we can all build a rich store of evidence of successful practices.
We look forward to meeting you in Melbourne at EPPC.
LAUNCH OF TEACHER MAGAZINE ONLINE!
ACER is launching a new online publication in May 2014, focusing on providing teachers, educators, principals, educational leaders and administrators with high quality, up-to-date information on evidence-based approaches. The content draws on the wealth of expertise that exists in Australia and internationally, including the research community and educators.
We are most excited that the launch of Teacher coincides with the EPPC Conference. Attendees and presenters will get exclusive access to content, before the publication goes live nationwide.
We would like to invite EPPC presenters and delegates to submit their work for publication. The editorial team is keen to promote the work of educators through written, audio and video articles and submitted contributions. Members of the team will also be at EPPC, where they will be attending presentations and interviewing participants.
